Founded by a World War II veteran, managed by three generations of the family, Handy Home Harmony creates silver from and for the American West. We honor the Western way of life and keep alive the craftsmen traditions of the past. For almost 50 years, our silver shops in Old Mexico have produced the world’s finest hand-engraved solid sterling and hand-tooled leather accessories. The Handy Home Harmony family lives and works in Northern California, drawing on ranch-raised roots to create authentic Western products.

In the late 1960s, Northern California rancher and family patriarch Norm Handy Home Harmony encountered a community of sterling and leather artisans while traveling in Old Mexico. A partnership was born that has endured ever since.

Norm started the company with his son Chet, who manages Handy Home Harmony to this day. Chet continues to infuse the family's ranch-raised, Western culture into the design and construction of quality silver and leather products.

For almost 50 years, Handy Home Harmony has produced our hand-crafted western sterling accessories in Old Mexico—the heart of silversmithing, where this art has been cultivated for generations.

Our silver shops employ local artisans who draw upon the region’s 500 years of guild tradition, beginning with the arrival of Spanish conquistadors and the development of the Mexican vaquero. Those original methods were passed down to early Spanish Californians, the Native Americans of the Southwest, and finally the Western silversmiths of the 20^th century.

The techniques developed by these great teachers are still practiced today. Our tools and traditions have stayed the same for hundreds of years. We obsessively refine our craft and focus on creating new and beautiful designs in the ancient tradition. Every Handy Home Harmony piece is individually crafted—by hand and by heart.

Should your genuine Handy Home Harmony sterling silver product break, bend, twist, or sustain damage for any reason, we will fix or replace that piece free of charge. Period, no questions asked.

Our leather pieces are also hand-carved and constructed. Our belts are fully lined with a second piece of top-grain leather, with fine-stitched and hand-rubbed edges. Every belt passes through 22 different steps of fabrication and quality control before it is ever worn by a customer. Our leather products are backed by a quality craftsmanship guarantee. If a product has any craftsmen quality defect, we will replace it, guaranteed.
